Rentals in Toronto move quickly and it is best to be prepared before you start attending showings. Here is a list of things you need to be prepared with:

Renting Application Checklist:

  • Government issued ID

  • A recent (within the last month) employment letter that states your income, length of employment and your title

  • Pay stubs (2-3 most recent)

  • Your full credit report

  • List of your rental history

  • References (ideally two or more of your previous landlords or employers)

  • Be mindful of your profiles on social media!
